Sue and I became friends 63 years ago and we have stayed friends through thick and thin. Sue was the only one who would make me see sense when I was young, free and single. We went everywhere together, went on holidays with her parents and then we would go on holidays with my parents. She was mad on Cliff Richard and I was mad on Elvis Presley. We would chase the Beatles around and saw them live on various occasions. Our lives went different ways when we married but Sue was my daughter's Godmother and we never really lost touch with each other. We started to see each other more regularly about five years ago so I have seen her go through her operation and chemotherapy and was so happy when she was given the all clear. I will miss you Sue and you will always have a special place in my heart. The memories I have of our friendship will last forever. Rest in peace my friend and I will see you again in a better place.
